Carbon offsets explained

As small businesses and everyday people, we are not able to eliminate all the emissions we create. Maybe someday, but for now the best thing we can do is support climate action projects that are making verified CO2e emission reductions happen at scale.

A carbon offset represents one verified metric tonne of CO2e reduced or removed from our atmosphere, through a climate action project that meets transparently published and validated standards.
