Supporting climate justice
Communities least responsible for global emissions are most affected and threatened by destructive climate change. This is why we choose carbon removal projects that demonstrate alignment with and support for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We prioritize projects that deliver on the following:
How your offset lowers emissions
The global climate science community agrees that in order to avoid worst case scenario climate change impacts, we must halve global CO2e emissions by 2030, and reach Net Zero emissions by 2050. Reaching these goals requires both reducing new emissions (new tech, less consumption) and removing legacy emissions-those already in our atmosphere (nature based solutions like forestry and grasslands, and tech like direct air capture).
Travel creates unavoidable emissions. When you offset your travel you remove legacy emissions from the atmosphere through projects verified by the world’s most trusted carbon emissions authorities like the United Nations.
